Ellie + Pete

I loved Ellie and Petes Devon Summer Wedding so so much! Ellie and Pete both radiate so much love and you can see that in every aspect of their day. They got married at their home church in Seaton and then had a beautiful reception at The Lower Bruckland Wildlife Gardens and Nature Reserve!

Every part of the day was filled with so much love and excitement. Both Ellie and Pete are both musicians so it was guaranteed that the band would be epic, which they definitely were! The band that played all night was Jonah Hitchens and the Super Band which blew everyone away and kept the party going!

The Lower Bruckland Wildlife Gardens and Nature Reserve is one of the most beautiful and unique Devon wedding venues, and is absolutely perfect for a summer wedding with it's big beautiful ponds, lovely fields, and long walk ways!

It truly was a wonderful day, and I feel so honoured I got to be a part of it! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Scott!!

A Sneak Peak of my Recent Devon Weddings

I absolutely adore being a Devon Wedding photographer. I have been so lucky to have photographed some absolutely stunning couples in some wonderful locations around Devon and the UK this year! Here are a couple sneak peas of the images before I bog about each one over the next couple of weeks.

The first wedding is the lovely Molly and Jack who got married in a beautiful traditional church in Tavistock and then had their reception at Hotel Endsleigh. I cannot wait to share ore of their beautiful wedding with you all.

The next Devon wedding is Ellie and Petes beautiful wedding at the Lower Bruckland Wildlife Gardens and Nature Reserve. It was so amazing to witness these two become husband and wife. Their wedding was so much fun, with both of the being musicians the guests guaranteed a fun evening of great music and dancing until sundown.

Devon Wedding

This beautiful wedding was actually in an exquisite English country garden just outside of the city of South Hampton. Kate and Keith have been together for four years and it was beautiful to witness them start their lives as husband and wife. The day was filled with some lovely moments that I can't wait to share.

Pieter + Dani's Pre-Wedding Shoot in Topsham Devon

At the beginning of the week I ventured into beautiful Topsham with Pieter and Dani for their Pre-Wedding photoshoot. Devon is filled with beautiful villages, and in my opinion Topsham is one of the best! Filled with beautiful architecture there were so many place to take the sweetest pre-wedding photos! I can't wait for their winter wedding in November at Rockbeare Manor!

Natalie + Pashur

One of the best things about being a Devon wedding photographer is the beautiful venues situated in the most gorgeous countryside. Rockbeare Manor in Exeter is of those beautiful venues. The lovely Natalie + Pashur got married in this idyllic country manor in late June.

It was so wonderful to see these two become Husband and Wife. They have a been together for over 10 Years so you can feel the love between them that has grown over the years! The whole day was filled with so much fun, from the mechnical bull during the drinks reception to the most epic dance off between the groom and groomsmen, and the bride and bridesmaids!

The whole day was so perfectly put together, with a beautiful white theme. Natalie's wedding dress was from the wonderful Sam Cox Bridalwear, and her beautiful bouquet put together by Hannah Burenett. The cake was made by the talented Rachel from Cut Me off A Slice, and the exquisite flower wall seen behind the brand and groom during the reception is by All Floral!

Molly and Jacks Pre-Wedding Shoot at Hotel Endsleigh

It was so beautiful getting to walk the grounds of Hotel Endsleigh with Molly and Jack for their pre-wedding shoot. They will be having their Devon summer wedding next month and I just cannot wait. It’s been so wonderful getting to know them and learning about their story. For the past two years they have been planning their perfect intimate wedding whilst also doing their degrees! With Molly working in the wedding industry as a makeup artist I know they are going to pull off the most beautiful day.

Starting Angel Wade Photography

Hi everybody! I've never blogged before and am not quite sure what I'm doing, where to start or where to go, but I thought it would be a nice idea for me to create a space where I talk about all things photography, from my weddings, family portraits, to my personal work and projects.

I started this website angelwadephotography.com back in 2014 as a place to put all my photos together in a portfolio and create a space for my photography to grow. Until about 2015 I never really used it very much, only occasionally uploaded new photos, but generally the website was ignored. In June 2016 a lot had changed with my photography style and where I wanted to take my business. This June is when I found out the reasons I couldn't go to university and that scared me as for a year I had had my next 3 years planned out and I was excited! However when the plans changed I had no idea what I was going to do and all my plans came crashing down. A couple of days later I decided that I was't going to let higher education be my life priority so decided to go ahead and work full time as a freelance photographer, so start my business properly.

From here I updated all my camera equipment, updated my website, and stated advertising. This was the best decision I have made in terms of my photography career and I'm so excited to see where it take me. However in August I started working full time as a digital marketing apprentice, and am loving every moment of it! Although Monday to Friday is work, and my weekends are booked up with shoots I'm so happy and wouldn't give up either! Being busy and working hard towards two things I love is the most satisfying thing ever.

I've started this blog to document both my professional and personal photography, so you should expect me rambling about beautiful weddings, lovely families and couples, or some of my favourite places and people. I want to document ideas, politics, interesting people, and my relatively mundane daily life. At the moment I will try post once a week either Saturday or Sunday.
